Mr. Crump joins Morningside Ministries with 20 years of experience in long term care. Prior to joining Morningside Ministries, Mr. Crump served as the Vice President of Operations for Buckner Retirement Services and the President of Baptist Memorials Ministries, a subsidiary of Buckner Retirement Services. Mr. Crump has also served on the board of the Grief and Loss Center of North Texas, the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of San Angelo and the Baylor Alumni Association.
Mr. Crump’s heart for serving the elderly is rooted in the close, personal relationship he had with one of his best friends, his grandmother. For Mr. Crump, she was the model of humor, hard work, resiliency and grace. Growing up with his grandmother and her friends afforded him the opportunity to see the positive aspects of aging along with its associated challenges. These experiences formed the foundation for his calling to serve older adults.
Mr. Crump is married to Jeana Elliott Crump and they have three children, Grayson, Greer and Caroline. In his free time he enjoys running marathons, snow skiing, mountain biking and attending Baylor sporting events. He is excited to be a part Morningside Ministries’ faith based mission and looks forward to working with its Board of Directors who support efforts to serve older adults. Mr. Crump is committed to and being part of an organization which takes seriously its stewardship of resources both financial and human.
