Dear Residents, Family Members, and Friends of Morningside Ministries,
In adherence to the state mandate that requires all senior living communities be tested for COVID-19, we are pleased to inform you that the Skilled Nursing residents and staff of our Meadows campus tested negative for the virus. The Skilled Nursing staff and residents of our Menger Springs campus was tested this past weekend and we are still waiting on the results.
In spite of the negative test results, we continue to implement COVID-19 protocols at both of our communities under the guidance of the CDC, the Texas Department of Health and Human services, as well as local health agencies. With that being said, our visitation restrictions, along with the mandatory use of face masks at our communities remains enforced in an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of Morningside residents.
We remain cautious in loosening restrictions around our communities and continue to adhere to state and local guidelines while also being mindful of rising cases in Texas. However, our Executive Team has strategically begun working within health and safety guidelines to create a potential step-by-step plan for relaxing restrictions at our communities. Should any changes occur in our rules and regulations regarding COVID-19, you will be promptly notified.
