When Molly first moved into Morningside Ministries at Menger Springs, her family told us she might prefer to be alone in her room. Molly had her own reasons, but she didn’t want to socialize and participate in activities.
We understood and respected her choice, but deep down, we hoped Molly would one day find the joy that comes from being part of our vibrant community.
Then, something amazing happened. Molly began attending activities. At first, it was small things — small talk with a fellow resident, a cup of coffee during social hour. Then she discovered the painting class.
What began as a simple pastime has now revealed a hidden talent. Molly’s art is breathtaking, but even more beautiful is the joy it brings her. Molly found a new passion at age 86 — because of you!
Thanks to you, a newfound sense of happiness and purpose fills Molly’s days.
These days, she’s thrilled to be invited to events, eager to try new things, and lights up when she talks about her latest project. Molly’s transformation has been remarkable!
