Because of you, seniors here at Morningside are now living in comfort, connection, and joy. Because of you, seniors facing financial hardship did not have to leave their home.
That’s incredible. YOU are incredible!
I can’t thank you enough. But I can share a story that shows the difference you’ve made.
Let me tell you about Theresa Lopez. Theresa is 104 years old. She has so much life and love to give.
She raised a family, traveled the world, worked as a florist, and was even a fashion model. She’s lived a full life.
But Theresa has also lived through heartbreaking loss. She lost her husband. She lost both of her sons. And she’s outlived most of her family.
And yet — Theresa still seeks joy. And with your help, she’s found it here at Morningside.
“I spend time with friends,” Theresa says. “I enjoy the activities I love, and feel like family. This is my life now — and it’s still beautiful.”
Friends, you helped give Theresa a home filled with friendship and care. A community that loves her. A place where she is reminded — every single day — that her life is still rich, meaningful, and full of beauty.
And here’s something else: Theresa has nearly outlived her retirement savings. Nobody plans to live to 104! But thanks to you, she received financial support to help her stay with her friends and community at Morningside.
