Morningside Ministries asks San Antonio to #GiveBig on May 6th, 2014 during The Big Give S.A.
Morningside Ministries invites you to participate in The Big Give SA, a citywide 24 hour online giving experience on Tuesday, May 6th! Minimum gifts of $10 will help provide much needed resources to continue to care for our seniors who can no longer afford their care, within a loving, nurturing environment. Participants are asked to help in the following ways:
Mark your calendar for tomorrow, May 6th, and donate anytime during those 24 hours, but preferably between 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., during which time, Morningside Ministries will compete to win a “challenge grant” and additional funding if we can amass the most donors within that hour!
There are many ways to give online and you can access the donations portal from any tablet, smartphone, or desktop computer. No matter how you go about donating, know that you are changing someone’s life for the better. Please join us in our quest to continue our mission to care for seniors, as we: Care for Those Who Cared for Us.
About Big Give S.A.
The Big Give S.A. is a 24-hour online giving event that will take place from midnight to midnight on May 6, 2014. The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge is to increase public awareness of the impact local nonprofits make in addressing our community’s social challenges, bring nonprofits and donors together, expand the idea of online giving and to connect people to the causes that move them the most.
How to Participate
On May 6, visit www.TheBigGiveSA.org to make a donation to a participating organization(s) – such as Morningside Ministries.
All donations on May 6th give your favorite nonprofit the opportunity to earn matching funds and prize incentives. This means that your gift has the capacity to leverage additional funding.
You can give by phone, tablet, or computer. The minimum donation is $10. There is not a maximum donation. There are standard credit card, processing and management fees.
The exciting aspect of this event is the opportunity for nonprofits to earn prize money and matching funds. These additional funds increase the nonprofit’s total to cover the associated costs.
