After more than 13 years of dedicated service, we bid a heartfelt farewell to James Warren, our Courtesy Officer and a cherished member of the Morningside at Menger Springs community.
Since joining in June 2012, James has been a steady and caring presence, supporting residents through both their best days and their most challenging moments. From his time working nights to spearheading projects like the community library, his contributions have left a lasting impact. In his own words:
“Today is my last day and I cannot express how I feel. It’s been over 13 years (June 2012) since I came to work at Morningside Ministries in Boerne. I have seen your worst days and your best days. I had fun and tried to stay busy when I used to work nights. The library was my biggest project, and I am very glad that Becky has taken over. Tuan (night shift) will be taking my place, and he is very good and gets along with everyone. I will pop in from time to time to visit and really want to say it’s been a good job for me — meeting you and listening all about your lives. I will miss you all.”—James
“James has been a partner, a helper, and a true friend to our residents for over 13 years,” said Chelsea Moreno, Chief Operating Officer. “His ideas come straight from the heart, always aimed at making life more joyful, safe, and peaceful for everyone at Morningside.”
While James steps into retirement, his presence will always be part of our community. We wish him all the best and look forward to his visits in the future.
