Morningside Ministries is proud to celebrate a special milestone as we recognize Robert Kesl, our Development Officer, for 20 years of dedicated service.
Before joining Morningside in 2006, Robert built a successful 20-year career with Harris County’s Community Development Department, where he developed valuable skills in grant management and a passion for supporting organizations that make a difference. When he returned to San Antonio, he brought that experience and commitment to Morningside’s mission of enhancing the lives of older adults.
Over the past two decades, Robert has played a vital role in advancing Morningside’s mission through his exceptional grantsmanship and dedication. He has secured more than $9 million in grant funding from Morningside supporters, helping provide resources that strengthen our communities and improve the lives of residents. Among his many accomplishments, Robert helped secure a $1.65 million grant from the Mabee Foundation that supported the development of our Morningside Green House Homes, bringing an innovative model of senior care to life.
Known for his reliability, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment, Robert has become a trusted member of the Morningside team. His colleagues know him as someone who consistently delivers results. He has never missed a grant deadline, and his work continues to make a lasting impact throughout our organization.
