Sometimes, the best moments are the ones filled with music, laughter, and shared celebration. That spirit was on full display at The Meadows as residents and team members came together to celebrate Fiesta season in a truly memorable way.
The community came alive with the vibrant sounds of a live mariachi band, creating an atmosphere full of energy, tradition, and joy. The celebration became even more special with a visit from Rey Feo 77 and his royal court, bringing excitement and a sense of honor to the occasion.
During his visit, Rey Feo 77, Dr. Oliva, delighted the crowd with a lighthearted introduction that had everyone laughing:
“I’m Dr. Oliva, Rey Feo 77, and I’ve actually been here. I noticed this facility has been around for over 60 years, but when I was a resident in psychiatry, we used to come over here with Dr. Royal and do psychiatric evaluations. I don’t know if it was any of y’all but y’all looking good, though!”
His humor and personal connection to the community made the moment even more meaningful, leaving smiles all around the room.
Events like these are a reminder of the joy that comes from coming together, honoring tradition, and creating lasting memories.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special. The Meadows continues to shine with warmth, connection, and Fiesta spirit.
