Morningside Ministries at Menger Springs celebrated the grand opening of its new Terrace Homes neighborhood on Friday, October 30, welcoming guests, community partners, and local leaders to experience the newest addition to its Boerne campus.
The celebration began with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Boerne Chamber of Commerce, marking an exciting milestone for Morningside and its continued commitment to providing exceptional senior living in the Texas Hill Country.

Brooke Craig welcomed guests and introduced remarks from Kim Blohm of the Boerne Chamber of Commerce, Patrick Dennis, Independent Living Director, and Morningside resident Bishop Folts. Bishop Folts shared reflections on Morningside’s history and his personal connection to the organization, making the occasion especially meaningful as Morningside celebrates its 65th anniversary this year.

Following the ceremony, guests explored the new Terrace Homes neighborhood through guided tours of two beautifully appointed model residences, the Wellness Center, and the heated, covered swimming pool. Visitors also had the opportunity to experience the community’s welcoming spaces and enjoy a culinary presentation specially prepared by the Morningside culinary team.
